EcoWestern Acceptable Use Policy

Effective August 11, 2026

At EcoWestern, we build calm, considered technology. This Policy outlines the rules and expectations for using the EcoWestern ecosystem.

In this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs conduct across the EcoWestern ecosystem, including MatePC, Enfusion, EcoWestern Cloud Services (ECS), Azura, and eChat. This AUP is the authoritative source on prohibited content and conduct; where our Terms of Service reference prohibited use, this document controls.

Part 1: Prohibited Uses

1. Breaking the Law

You may not use the EcoWestern ecosystem to engage in, promote, or facilitate illegal activity. You must not:

  • Upload, generate, or distribute illegal content, including CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or terrorist/extremist propaganda.
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights, including the distribution of pirated software, media, or proprietary data.
  • Circumvent regional, export, or legal restrictions.
  • Upload, distribute, or link to malware, spyware, ransomware, or any destructive code.
  • Engage in fraud, phishing, identity theft, or deceptive trade practices.

2. Harming or Exploiting Others

Technology should elevate, not exploit. You must not:

  • Harass, stalk, intimidate, impersonate, or threaten any person or organization.
  • Generate or distribute "deepfake" content without explicit consent.
  • Encourage, glorify, or provide instructions for self-harm, suicide, or violence.
  • Target or incite violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.

3. Misuse of Azura AI

You may not use Azura in ways that are deceptive, exploitative, or unsafe. You must not:

  • Bypass or exploit Azura's safety filters.
  • Request or distribute violent, hateful, explicit, or sexually suggestive AI outputs.
  • Generate false, misleading, or manipulative information (disinformation).
  • Represent Azura's output as advice from a licensed EcoWestern professional, or otherwise misrepresent an AI-generated response as coming from a qualified human expert.
  • Use Azura to impersonate a licensed professional (e.g., a doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor) to a third party.
  • Produce spam, scams, or undisclosed political propaganda.

4. Exploiting the Platform

To maintain platform stability, you must not:

  • Overload or disrupt infrastructure through excessive API calls or attacks.
  • Reverse-engineer or tamper with EcoWestern software or security.
  • Use unauthorized bots or scrapers to harvest EcoWestern data.
  • Exploit bandwidth through link farming or SEO manipulation.

5. Financial and Deceptive Schemes

EcoWestern does not host blockchain-based content. You must not:

  • Promote or execute cryptocurrency, NFT, or blockchain-related schemes.
  • Engage in multi-level marketing (MLM) or pyramid schemes.
  • Solicit data under false pretenses or impersonate EcoWestern staff.

Part 2: Community Guidelines

1. Be Respectful and Safe

Treat others with basic human dignity. No harassment, bullying, or bad-faith arguments. Support others rather than provoking them.

2. Protect Privacy

Never share personal or identifying information of another user without explicit consent. Doxxing is treated as a serious violation and may result in immediate account suspension pending review.

3. Use Features Responsibly

No spam, nonsensical content flooding, or abuse of the reporting/tagging mechanics. Alt accounts may not be used to evade bans.

Part 3: Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or conduct that violates this AUP, report it at support.ecowestern.net.

Part 4: Enforcement, Appeals, and Liability

Enforcement

All violations are reviewed case by case. Depending on severity, enforcement may range from a warning, to temporary suspension, to permanent account termination. Serious violations may trigger the Account Search Protocol described in our Terms of Service.

Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal once at no cost via support.ecowestern.net/economic-id/appeals. If you believe your appeal did not receive a proper case review, you may request a second review for a $25 fee, at which point you may also submit additional comments or evidence for consideration.

Liability

You are solely responsible for your content. EcoWestern is not liable for user-generated content or interactions occurring on the platform.
